About

Stencibility festival

Stencibility is an international street art festival that has been running since 2010 in Tartu, driven by a love for free, independent street art. It’s one of the longest running street art festivals in Europe.

Stencibility has made a conscious choice not to focus on large scale murals. Instead, we focus on the full spectrum of street art—stickers, stencils, paste-ups, and spontaneous interventions that keep the city’s walls alive. Our spraycation format brings in artists, handing them a selection of walls but leaving the creative process totally up to them. No rigid plans, no pre-approved sketches—just pure, unfiltered street art.

We like to experiment with the format of the festival to give life to the most interesting and bizarre street art projects, explain the true nature of street art to the wider public, and support the active scene of street artists. Every year Stencibility welcomes street artists from all over Europe for spraycation. Over the years, we’ve turned abandoned houses into street art galleries, created Europe’s biggest sticker exhibition on a city bus, hosted underground art markets and street art jams, run hands-on workshops, and thrown street art tours.

Stencibility has left its mark all over Tartu, with more than 150 pieces scattered throughout the city. But we don’t just stay local—our traveling street art exhibition Hello Mister Police Officer has hit Berlin, NuArt Aberdeen in Scotland, and Tallinn, while smaller projects have taken us to smaller towns of Estonia.

Stencibility festival will take place June 11-15, 2025
